We’re not just landscapers — we’re brothers in life and in purpose. Backyard Brothers LLC was founded by Xue Leeand Fah Lee, two lifelong friends and partners who came to the United States with a dream to build a better life — and help others do the same.

We were both born and raised in a refugee camp in Thailand, where our families lived after fleeing conflict and hardship in Southeast Asia. Life in the camp was never easy. We grew up surrounded by limited resources but strong values: hard work, community, and resilience.

When we arrived in America, we were determined to turn our struggle into success. We knew we didn’t want handouts — we wanted to earn everything through honest work. Over the years, we worked in various labor jobs — landscaping, tree service, mowing, and construction — learning the skills that would one day become the backbone of our own business.

In 2025, we took a leap of faith and started Backyard Brothers LLC, with nothing but a truck, a few tools, and the belief that we could make something meaningful. Our mission was simple: provide honest, high-quality tree removal and lawn care services while treating every customer like family.

Every time we trim a lawn or remove a tree, we remember where we came from. We work hard because we know what it means to have little. We serve with pride because every backyard we care for is part of the American dream we’re building, one yard at a time.
